After an acute illness, a patient is often medically stable but requires rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or monitoring. At times it may not be feasible for these services to be provided in the home setting.

 

Russell Regional Hospital has a Swingbed Program that provides a variety of skilled services to the patient and family, including:

• Inpatient Care

• Social Services

• IV Therapy

• Dietary Consultation

• Physical Therapy

• Patient / Family Teaching

• Speech Therapy

• Case Management

• Skilled Nursing

• Cardiopulmonary Care

• Occupational Therapy
